2pi Patent Consulting GbR was founded in January 2016 by Dipl.-Ing. Richard Pistorius and Dr. Joachim Pistorius. We provide patent engineering services to patent attorneys in law firms and in industrial enterprises. We also act as consultants for selected clients and represent those clients in proceedings before the European Patent Office and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Due to our many years of experience we provide our services in all fields of electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, fine mechanics, information technology, medical technology, and computer software. We take pride in our capacity to act as a trustworthy and reliable partner for our customers and clients in English, German, and French, these being also the official languages of the European Patent Office.

Our services encompass a broad range of activities with a particular focus on the drafting of European patent applications, United States patent applications, and international applications. Some of our other activities include conducting prior art searches and representing clients in examination, appeal, and opposition procedures before the European Patent Office. Due to our lean and efficient structure we are able to offer our services at particularly attractive conditions.
