Richard Pistorius




Richard Pistorius has been active in the field of Intellectual Property Rights since 1999. From 1999 to 2003, he practiced as a patent engineer with a renowned Intellectual Property law firm in Munich, Germany, and gathered further experience at a U.S. law firm during a two months stay in Houston, TX in 2002. In February 2003, he founded the Engineering Company Richard Pistorius in which he provided intellectual property services in the fields of electronical engineering, mechanical engineering, fine mechanics, information technology, medical technology and computer software. In 2008, he was admitted to practice as a European Patent Attorney before the European Patent Office. Richard Pistorius also has the CEIPI diploma on Patent Litigation in Europe. He is prepared to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court in Europe. In this context, he is a member of the European Patent Litigators Association (EPLIT). In 2016, Richard Pistorius co-founded 2pi Patent Consulting GbR.
